What we do
Program Delivery
Regional Collab has been delivering the Local Jobs Program for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations since 2021 prior to that we co-delivered the Regional Employment Trials for the Department for two years.
Local Jobs is a collaborative place-based initiative ensuring local labour markets work well for all Australians, in partnership with business and communities. Regional Collab through Local Jobs supports tailored, local approaches to skilling individuals to meet local workforce needs.
Program Development
Regional Collab specialises in developing jobs programs that address diversity and inclusion and meet the needs of priority cohorts within the workforce across Australia.
Recently we were awarded a grant from the Connecting Women to Trades Grant through Training Services NSW and the Department of Education to build a 12 month program encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls into the Construction sector.
Along with our grant partners Guda Birgingira, Community Corporate and iStemCo we have delivered a program to women and girls across the New England and North West of NSW.
The program provided opportunities to connect with vital warp around services, learn about employers needs in the sector and visit employers to gain hands on experience and knowledge of what different trades opportunities provide.
Community Engagement
At RegionalCollab, we believe community engagement is essential both within and outside your organisation, and we can help your business create customised experiences that align with your business goals.
We've successfully implemented a variety of initiatives with our partners to activate communities and encourage participation. Here's how weโve made an impact and how you can join us in our efforts!
Conducting Site Tours: We organise welcoming tours at company sites to enhance awareness and open doors to opportunities within your industry, specifically tailored for rural, regional, and remote communities potential employees.
Participation in Panels and Workshops: Engage in our employer panels, workshops, and job skill showcase events to support rural talent and share industry insights.
Technology Donations: Donate outdated laptops and devices to our digital device bank, helping individuals in remote areas enhance their skills and become job-ready.
Supporting Local Events: We are always keen to sponsor or host events like job expos and careers fairs or can assist to initiate your own fundraising activities to support regional development in your area.
